Easy RiderThe House of Blue LightsBilly attempts to persuade Wyatt that they should take George's money, go for a nice meal and then go to the brothel that George was taking them to regardless of his death. Wyatt is unsure about this, but Billy manages to convince Wyatt that George would have wanted them to. As we enter the brothel scene, we hear amongst the music a female voice that says, "If God didn't exist it, it would be necessary to invent him."
Eventually they are shown into a little room where they are made to wait. Wyatt just wanders around, looking at decor. Something catches his attention; a small scroll pinned up on the wall that reads, "Death only closes a man's reputation and determines it as good or bad." Then he sees something odd; a vision of a motorbike catching fire and exploding dramatically at the side of the road. It later transpires that what Wyatt saw was in actual fact a vision. Keep reading through these pages and you'll see what I mean.
The atmosphere very strange as they wait for their partners to arrive. If Billy is upset by the death of his friend George he doesn't show it much, but he looks more tense than usual as he downs his glass of whisky. Eventually the girls are shown in; one is a brunette called Mary and the other is a tall blonde played by Karen Black. Billy jumps up and introduces himself as Billy and Captain America, bows before them, and dashes to Wyatt begging him to let him have the tall blonde. While Billy and the blonde girl play with each other's hair, Mary sits next to Wyatt and waits for him to say something. Wyatt is cool but can't think of anything to say, so he offers the girl a cigarrette, to which she replies, "I don't smoke,", and continues to wait for him to say something. Wyatt clearly isn't comfortable in that place so he asks Mary, the brunette, if she would like to go for a walk, to which she smiles and says yes. Click Next!
