Easy RiderAttack in the NightGeorge, Wyatt and Billy make another camp fire that night not far from the Redneck Cafe in Louisiana. As they sit by the campfire, the conversation invevitably turns to what happened at the cafe, between Billy and Goerge. Wyatt just lies down near the fire, listening. "You know, this used to be a hell a good country." begins George sitting wrapped up next to billy by the campfire. Billy refers to the time he and Wyatt weren't given a room at a cheap motel. George says something about it being to do with the kind of poeple he and Wyatt are. Billy argues against this by saying that all they represent to them is someone who needs a hair cut. George replies, "Oh no, what you represent to them is freedom." But Billy argues, "What the hell's wrong with freedom, I mean that's what it's all about isn't it?" George then says, "Oh yeah, that's what it's all about alright, but being it and talking about it are different things. These country boys will talk to you and talk to you about individual freedom, but when they see a free individual it's gonna scare 'em." Billy replies, "Well, we'll make 'em running scared." But George then steps in again by saying, "Oh, they're not scared of you, they're scared of what you represent." Billy then says some like, "well, that makes them pretty stupid then." But George says, "No, that makes them dangerous." George now starts doing his 'Nik-Nik' to Billy and Billy can't believe it. 'Swamp!' adds George, Billy is unsure what to say. George now adds, 'Did you ever talk to bullfrogs in the middle of the night?'. 'Not generally', replies Billy. 'Do you know what I used to do?', asks Goerge. 'What did you used do, Man?' asks Billy. 'Well I tell you what I didn't used to do, I didn't used to talk to bullfrogs in the middle of the night!' says George. 'You're out of your mind!', laughs Billy. 'That's right', replies George. That night they're are snuck up on by the country boys at the cafe, who start hacking them up with sticks. Billy screams, the beating continues, dogs start barking. Billy is on his feet trying to scare them off, eventually the beating subsides and the country boys make a run for it in the dark. Billy rushes to his comrade to see if he's still alive, he's breathing so Billy stays with him, eventually the peace returns. It turns out the George is dead. Billy and Wyatt start debating what to do with his personal effects. Wyatt say, "Get 'em to his folks somehow." Billy finds George's House of Blue Lights card. "Well, he won't be using that." Billy and Wyatt are now in a restaurant having a decent meal. Billy is really stuffing his face. He argues that they should now both go to the House of Blue Lights, "Hey, now, really seriously, he would have wanted us to man." Click Next!
